Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate 3D artist to be part of a growing development team for a video game company. We are currently developing a 3D turn-based game in Unreal Engine 5 with some new tech twists. Your role would be to take charge of the 3D modeling and environment set up using existing illustrations and concepts but provide your input as well. This is a small development team so you would be involved in a lot of the decision-making regarding animation and aesthetics. This is a remote position where you would be accountable for your own work so efficient time-management and collaboration skills are a must. 

Please also have an outstanding portfolio/demo reel to showcase your past projects and abilities with 3D modeling and unreal engine knowledge.



Requirements
  • 3+ years as a 3D artist working with AAA quality assets for Unreal Engine.
  • 5+ years of industry experience, with at least 1 shipped game.
  • Experience with using Unreal Engine 5.
  • Experience with using Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, Substance Painter and/or other modeling and texturing tools.
  • Experience with multiple art skill sets, i.e. 3D modeling, texturing.
  • Good technical knowledge for optimization pipelines and PBR creation materials for Unreal Engine 5.
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling (emphasis on character performance, shot composition,etc)
  • Ability to work with an iterative pipeline.
  • Be familiarized with Fork or Github to be able to work on our repository.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Ability to help guide and maintain the asset creation pipeline.
  • Efficient time management and self-initiative.
  • Work well remotely.

Preferred Skills:

  • Be familiarized with Unreal Editor for collision management, PLAs, etc.
  • Organized.
  • Communicative.
  • Be familiar with clickup.
