POSITION SUMMARY:
Experienced hands-on 3D Designer with proven expertise in Browzwear software, and a passion for driving innovation in digital fashion design.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the 3D design team in creating accurate and realistic 3D virtual garments, ensuring quality rendering and fit.
- Collaborate with team members from design, product development, and technology to identify areas for improvement and innovation using Browzwear software.
- Support the development and documentation of best practices and workflows for Browzwear 3D design to promote consistency across projects.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in 3D design and fashion tech, sharing insights with the team.
- Help evaluate new features and updates to Browzwear software, providing feedback to the team and assisting with implementation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Extensive experience in 3D fashion design, with a focus on Browzwear software (e.g., VStitcher, Lotta, Fabric Analyzer).
- Deep understanding of garment construction, fit, and sewing techniques, with the ability to create realistic fabric simulations and textures.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Passion for fashion, technology, and creativity, with a commitment to driving positive change in the industry.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of 3D design projects and proficiency in Browzwear software.
- Experience in the fashion industry or related fields at a senior or director level is preferred.
HYBRID SCHEDULE: 3 days a week in the NJ office, 2 days work from home
