3D Designers

• Minimum of 1-3 years of CAD experience on NX with harness routing/packaging knowledge.
  • Routing Electrical application experience (used for creating 3D math models, including importing component & harness files)
  • Familiar with adding coverings.
  • Creating 2D releasable drawings
• Team Center knowledge/experience.
• Vis mockup experience.
• Development of 2D stick drawings (diagrams).
• Follow Sumitomo and Stellantis CAD Design/Release processes.
• Good communication, time management and interpersonal skills required. On time issue, resolution to support SEWS development timing plan/external customer milestones.
• Comprehend/ mark up/ sign off 2D WH drawings.
• Support customer meetings, design reviews, and PMT meetings.
• Interface with internal/external wire harness engineers and support manufacturing requests.
• Conduct CAD reviews with engineering team.
• Complete CAD studies and engineering work orders in SBM (internal Sumitomo’s CAD Work Orders system).
