Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and prepare detailed Civil 3D designs for a variety of civil engineering projects such as transportation, land development, grading, stormwater management, and utilities.
· Create and modify 3D models of proposed infrastructure, including road alignments, profiles, corridors, grading plans, and drainage systems.
· Generate and maintain digital terrain models (DTMs) and surfaces based on field survey data.
· Produce accurate construction drawings, design plans, and reports using Civil 3D and AutoCAD software.
· Prepare cross-sections, profiles, plan views, and other necessary drawings for project development and construction.
· Coordinate with other team members to ensure proper drafting standards and consistency in design documents.
· Utilize Civil 3D’s dynamic model features to perform design analyses, such as grading analysis, cut/fill calculations, and stormwater drainage modeling.
· Conduct coordination and clash detection in 3D models to ensure compatibility across different project disciplines (e.g., utilities, roads, and structures).
Required Skills:
· Minimum of 3-4 years of experience using Civil 3D software in a design role within the civil engineering industry.
· Experience with other AutoCAD-based software, such as AutoCAD Map 3D, is a plus.
· Familiarity with civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices.
