A Freelance Graphic Designer position is now available in the Greater Phoenix, AZ area via The Keller Group. We’re looking for an experienced Graphic Designer that has hands-on experience working with a wide array of digital mediums, packaging design, photography, infographics, banner ads, social media assets, and more. ***Candidates must be willing to work onsite Monday-Thursday in the Glendale, AZ area. Candidates must also be willing to commit to a 40 hour per week contract through the end of the year at minimum. This is a full-time contract position that has the potential to convert into a salaried position. 


Graphic Designer Job Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, and develop high-quality print and digital materials that align with specific needs while meeting deadlines.
  • Skilled in creating designs for both traditional and digital mediums (websites/storefronts, mobile, social media, email campaigns, motion graphics/videos, photoshoots, infographics, collateral, merchandise packaging, etc.)
  • Demonstrate strong layout design skills and ability to convey complex ideas in a straightforward and visually appealing manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal creative and marketing peers + key stakeholders on conceptual strategy and execution.
  • Communicate effectively with senior team members to pitch ideas, brainstorm, and implement campaigns.
  • Remain current in graphic design trends; identify new techniques and unique industry/competitor trends.
  • Updating eCommerce storefronts + imagery, content, etc.

Requirements

Graphic Designer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field of study
  • 4+ years of graphic design experience
  • Must have both print and digital experience (print ads, infographics, social media, packaging, email, web, photography, etc.)
  • Expert user of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop + bonus if any experience in video editing (Premiere, After Effects, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Team oriented and ability to get along with others – ability to take constructive criticism and direction.
  • Ability to multitask, be proactive, determine priorities, and work independently or in a team setting.
