Junior Product Designer - Manufacturing Industry

Hire Resolve's client is a leading manufacturing company in the Western Cape, specializing in producing high-quality products for the industry. They are seeking a talented and creative Junior Product Designer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and manufacturing, as well as a desire to contribute to the development of new products. The Junior Product Designer will work closely with our senior design team to create innovative and market-leading products for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the senior design team to develop new product concepts
• Create detailed designs and specifications for new products
• Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends and customer needs
• Prototype and test product designs to ensure functionality and quality
• Work with manufacturing teams to ensure products are manufactured according to design specifications
• Assist with product documentation, including drawings, bills of materials, and specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in product design, preferably in the manufacturing or printing industry
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for design and innovation
