Responsibilities


•    Vision-Keeping: Define, maintain, and communicate the creative vision for our games, ensuring it aligns with our strategic goals and resonates with our player base.
•    Design Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of game designers, fostering creativity and collaboration to achieve high-quality results.
•    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between the design team and other departments, including programming, graphic design, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of all game elements.
•    Stakeholder Presentations: Prepare and present game concepts, progress updates, and design strategies to upper management, articulating the vision and rationale behind design decisions.
•    Game Concept Development: Develop and refine game mechanics, systems, and features that enhance player engagement and satisfaction.
•    Review Policy: Ensure the quality, consistency, and innovation of game design across all features, from concept through to final release.
•    Data-Driven Improvements: Analyze game performance metrics and player feedback to inform ongoing improvements and updates.
•    Project Oversight: Oversee the design aspects of the development process, ensuring timelines and budgets are met while maintaining the creative integrity of the product.



Requirements


•    Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
•    Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in game design, with a strong focus on online-, mobile- and multiplayer games.
•    Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a small design team, with a track record of successful project delivery.
•    Creative Vision: Exceptional creative skills with a deep understanding of game mechanics, player behavior, and industry trends.
•    Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine and familiarity with programming languages such as C++ or C#.
•    Communication Excellence: Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
•    Strategic Thinking: Experience in aligning game design with business objectives and player expectations.
