Position: Product Designer Overview Stylumia.ai is a global innovation-first Retail AI organization. We have products that impact the daily lives of varying multi-disciplinary personas across the value chain as we strive to help them eliminate wastage in the industry, by augmenting their decisions with consumer-backed insights. As a Product Designer at Stylumia, you’ll work on the end-to-end experiences, from identifying customer needs to conceptualizing the UX and iterating with feedback. Qualification | Skills and Experience You have 3-6 yrs experience in end-to-end Product Design, (research, UX, visual and interaction design) in B2B and B2C SaaS space Curiosity: You are on top of the latest events and trends in design and tech - from sharing your inspirations at Google I/O and Apple’s event, leading innovation by learning and leveraging concepts of Biases, Gamification, Network Effects, and more. Empathy: You form deep empathy with an unbiased passion for connecting and hearing customer stories. You’re constantly iterating on your designs either through quantitative or qualitative research. Expertise: You have a deep understanding of web UX and the ability to quickly prototype wireframes, build pixel-perfect visual designs, and pack them with interactions that deliver intuitive and delightful experiences. Lean: You build intuitively, measure objectively and iterate quickly. Ownership: You can work independently, as well as take the lead in discovering problems and solving them collaboratively. Btw, one pixel off is a big deal. Growth Mindset: You welcome challenges, product feedback, and ambiguity as a path to unlock your maximum potential. Effective Communicator: You are comfortable and confident articulating ideas and presenting your work/thoughts verbally or written. Responsibilities | What would you do in a typical week: As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for every solution you design – from the very first sketch through to prototyping, usability testing, implementation, monitoring, and iterating with qualitative and quantitative insights to achieve the expected adoption. Be a true champion for our users. We take design seriously and are on a mission to make our customers love how easily our products help them. Engage closely with our users to understand what they need, want, love, and hate. Set the bar on attention to detail. Sweating the elements of user flow, information architecture, micro-interactions, day-1 experience, Aha! moments, and most importantly - unhappy path experiences. You will hold the quality gate on user experience. Closely work with engineering to get your designs executed flawlessly. Establish a design system to maintain visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints. Invest in design standards, documentation, and processes to define our design practice. Seek mentorship from design veterans, build on your skill sets, read from Stylumia library, co-publish blogs with our CEO, travel to meet customers, and grow your team.
