The company is seeking to hire an experienced Product Designer who will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of its’ payment’s platform. The ideal candidates’ primary aim will be to design and develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that meet the needs of merchants and drive business growth.
S/he will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements, conduct user research, and iterate on designs to ensure that products are both functional and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth user research by using various methods to understand merchant needs, pain points, and behaviours.
Create intuitive user interfaces: Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals that are visually appealing and easy to navigate.
Collaborate effectively with teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs align with business goals and technical constraints.
Establish a consistent design language by Creating and maintaining a unified visual identity across all products and platforms.
Create interactive models of products design to test assumptions, gather feedback from stakeholders and users, and refine the design accordingly.
Plan and execute tests to evaluate how users interact with products, identify usability issues, and make necessary improvements to enhance user satisfaction and product functionality.
Iterative design process: Utilize user feedback, A/B testing, and analytics to improve designs continuously and enhance the user experience.
Ensure that all product designs are aligned with the company brand guidelines and reinforce a cohesive visual identity.
Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in UI/UX design, fintech solutions, and user behaviours to inform innovative design solutions.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
B.Sc in computer science or any related field.
2-3 years of experience in product design roles, with a focus on digital products.
Additional certifications or coursework in UX/UI design is an added advantage.
Grounded understanding of both UX and UI design principles, with the ability to create seamless and visually appealing user interfaces.
Strong proficiency in Figma design tool, with a demonstrable portfolio showcasing user-centred design solutions.
Familiarity with design and prototyping tools, as well as keen interest in staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, communicating design ideas and rationale clearly.
Strong strategic thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail in design execution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts effectively.
Good time-management skills.
Experience in creating prototypes and conducting usability testing to validate design concepts and iterate based on user feedback.
