About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior 3D Designer to join our team, specializing in events, exhibitions, and immersive experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and delivering innovative and engaging 3D environments that captivate and inspire audiences.

Specifically the Senior 3D Designer should.. 

• Lead the design and development of 3D environments for events, exhibitions, and immersive experiences, ensuring they are visually stunning, functional, and on-brand.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, creative directors, and production teams, to ensure design concepts are feasible and executed to the highest standards.

• Develop detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings to communicate design concepts to clients and internal teams.

• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our designs are innovative, engaging, and cutting-edge.

• Manage and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills.

• Attend client meetings, present design concepts, and communicate design ideas effectively.

• Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.

• Ensure all designs meet safety and accessibility requirements, as well as budget and timeline constraints.

As a minimum, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in 3D design, with a focus on events, exhibitions, and  immersive experiences.

• Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software, such as SketchUp, 3DS Max, Unreal Engine and Rhino.

• Strong understanding of materials, lighting, and spatial design.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas and concepts to clients and internal teams.

• Experience managing and mentoring junior designers.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
