About the role:


We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team.ย  Ideally, we are looking for applications from people who have multi-discipline experience in transport, energy and water projects.



  • Understand the purpose of the design brief, be able to proficiently interpret it and ensure its requirements are met by the design deliverables.

  • Prepare maintain and drive a design program, procurement and management of all design consultants.

  • Reviews consultantโ€™s budgets and contracts and monitors and reports changes to remain within budget.

  • Ensuring that the content of design packages is appropriate for approval processes and suitable for construction use.

  • Work to drive design efficiency and deliver Value for Money outcomes.

  • Proven multi-disciplined experience within the construction industry.


The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:



  • A Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil), Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Engineering qualification.

  • Registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer status (CPEng) is advantageous.

  • Previous history of working on a range of government infrastructure projects across transport, energy and water.
