Get to Know the Team

As a Senior Product Designer on the Food/Mart team, you will be part of a group of accomplished product designers and UX writers who are carving the pathway for the future of online ordering and discovery. The future of online food and mart will leverage Grab's ecosystem, focusing on seamless payments, reliable fulfilment, and the establishment of relationships that build trust between consumers, merchants, and driver-partners who deliver the food.

Get to Know the Role

As a Senior Product Designer, your role will involve daily collaboration with a dynamic and diverse team of specialists. This includes other Product Designers, Product Managers, Analysts, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders. You will report to Senior Designer Manager and work onsite at the Grab Malaysia office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Define consumer experience for online food and mart discovery and ordering, leveraging Grab's ecosystem.
  • Outline merchant and driver-partner experience including order creation, allocation, collection, payment verification, and delivery.
  • Understand global on-demand apps used by consumers, drivers, and businesses.
  • Conduct various types of testing for consumer and driver-partner on-demand solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on information architecture, user journey mapping, and wireframe flows.
  • Enhance experiences across platforms for consumers, merchants, and driver-partners.
  • Deliver excellent design artefacts from ideation to prototyping/validation, inspiring other designers.
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes, collaborate with engineers, and develop top-quality product solutions.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Provide a portfolio of your recent design work in English, showcasing your contribution and the impact of your projects. We recommend you provide clear context, outline your end-to-end workflow, and demonstrate how you go from problem discovery to launch.
  • Minimum 4 years as a product designer
  • Experience in on-demand service industry, online ordering and discovery, and online to offline service design.
  • Strong understanding of web/mobile UX design and design systems.
  • Working knowledge of mobile/web front-end development.
  • Ability to create prototypes and conduct various types of user tests.
  • Keen eye for visual design with hands-on user interface design experience.
  • Proficiency with design tools like Figma/Figjam, ProtoPie, AfterEffects or similar.
  • Ability to present design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Experience in service design, user research, and translating findings into product features/improvements.
