Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize shaders and visual effects (VFX) for real-time game engines.
Collaborate with artists and engineers to ensure smooth integration of assets and effects.
Create dynamic visual effects, particles, and materials that enhance gameplay and user experience.
Ensure that the technical aspects of visual effects are optimized and meet performance standards.
Mentor and support the art team on technical challenges and workflow improvements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry.
Expertise in shaders, VFX, particle systems, and dynamic visual effects.
Proficiency in real-time rendering and shader development.
Experience working with game engines like Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
Strong understanding of optimization techniques for performance and visuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with rigging, lighting, and procedural generation tools/implementation.
Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools.
A solid portfolio showcasing your work in shaders, VFX, and visual effects.
