Responsibilities
- Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
- Hands-on experience of all user-centered design processes.
- Expert level knowledge UCD methodology, information architecture, navigation models and interaction design principles
- Experience in designing for various devices and systems (mobile, handheld, TV, display systems)
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication, management, negotiation, presentation and client relations skills
- Ability to trigger business discussions with program managers, CTOs, CIOs, CEOs
- A clear and effective presentation style to inform and influence important design decisions and maintain credibility
- Deeper eagerness for observing human behavior and synthesizing insights into the design
- Be organized and showcase excellent time management skills and be highly detail-oriented
- Ability to manage own timelines in an efficient manner while receiving strategic and tactical direction from project stakeholders
Requirements:
- Must Have a degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Engineering or related field
- Should have prior experience as a UI/UX Designer as well as a strong portfolio of related projects
- Should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop), Figma and other creative tools [minimum 4 years experience]
- Should be proficient in prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, etc.
- Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
- Must pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics
- Should have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions
- Must be a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
- Execute and drive multiple UCD projects by diagnosing business and user needs
- Apply all pieces of user-centered design methodology and processes
- Plan and conduct primary and secondary research
- Convert user insights into concept designs that are not only compelling but are contrasting ideas looking at business challenges from varied angles
- Design and manage all interaction design activities, including visual design coordination with global designers
- Present design decisions to the stakeholders that are backed up by strong experience design principles and rationale
- Coordinate with technology teams to bring designs to a pixel-perfect reality
- Manage communications at all levels and be responsible for project deliverables with quality and on time
