Senior UX Design Strategist, AD/ADAS

Core ADAS Advanced UX team works on Lv2 to Lv4 automated driving technologies, including Lv2 advanced driver assistance interaction design (driving and parking assistance), UX design for Lv4 automated driving mobility, and UX research for these products. Our team includes project managers, interaction designers, UI designers, 3D designers, 3D engineers, and UX researchers. We value teamwork, transparency , and open-minded communication as we collaborate daily with colleagues and partners from multiple regions and backgrounds.

Core ADAS Advanced UXチームは、Lv2からLv4までの高度運転支援機能や自動運転機能に関わるUX開発業務を担うチームで、主に量産向け自動車のLv2 高度運転支援のインタラクションデザイン(走行支援や駐車支援)とLv4 自動運転車のUXデザイン、それらのUXリサーチを担当しています。チームはプロダクトマネージャー、インタラクションデザイナー、UIデザイナー、3Dデザイナー、3Dエンジニア、UXリサーチャーといったメンバーで構成されます。様々な国から来日したバックグラウンドの異なるメンバーと日々コラボレーションを行う必要があるため、チームワーク、透明性、オープンなコミュニケーションをチームの重要な価値観として大切にしています。

As a UX Design Strategist, you will help plan next-generation advanced driving assist system functions, work with our clients in Toyota Motor Corporation to 1) define design requirements and roadmaps; 2) lead the project in collaboration with designers and researchers. You will report to Strategy & Communication team Manager, and work with other UX strategists.

1）デザイン要件とロードマップを定義する

2）デザイナーやリサーチャーと協力してプロジェクトをリードする

この２点を主なミッションとして活動します。

所属はStrategy & Communicationチームとなり、チームマネージャーへとレポートしつつ、他のUXストラテジストと共に活動します。

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead UX design development of new advanced driving assist system functions for the next generation vehicles
• Requirements gathering from our clients in Toyota and create UX design development roadmap including PoC development and user testing
• Forecast and propose budgets and other resource allocation, building consensus through presentations
• Produce interactive PoC and Conduct user testing in collaboration with the design and research team, and present project outcomes to clients
• Establish indicators and improvement plans before and after product release in collaboration with our clients, and be responsibility and for meeting goals
• You will come to the office 3 days per week observing our hybrid work rules

• 我々のクライアントであるトヨタ自動車から機能開発要件を収集し、PoC開発やユーザーテストを含むUXデザイン開発ロードマップを作成する
• 予算などのリソース配分を予測し、提案を行い、関係者と合意形成をする
• デザインチームやリサーチチームと連携し、インタラクティブなPoCを作成してユーザーテストを行い、クライアントにプロジェクトの成果物をプレゼンする
• クライアントとの協力のもと、製品リリース前後の達成目標とする指標を定め、改善計画を策定し、目標達成に責任を持つ
• 会社就業規則を遵守し、週3日はオフィスへの出社を行うこと

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual in Japanese and English (TOEIC score of 860 or above, JLPT N1 level or above)
• 7+ years of experience in digital product design development, having experience leading at least 3 projects which were released in mass market
• Background in UX design, Interaction design, UX research, or product management
• Experience coordinating requirements from multiple partners, especially engineers, and facilitate discussions to reach agreement
• Experience to identify project uncertainties and potential tasks and resolve them

• 日英バイリンガル（TOEIC860点以上、日本語能力試験N1レベル以上）
• 7年以上のデジタル製品デザイン開発経験、および実際に市場投入されたプロダクトの開発を3つ以上リードした経験
• UXデザイン、インタラクションデザイン、UXリサーチ、またはプロダクトマネジメントいずれかのバックグラウンド
• 複数のパートナー（特にエンジニア）からの要件を調整し、合意を得るための議論をファシリテーションした経験
• プロジェクトの不確定要素や潜在的なタスクを特定し、解決した経験

NICE TO HAVES

• Japanese Driver license
• Experience in mobility services or automotive industry development (especially Japanese companies)
• Understanding of advanced driving assist systems
• Skills with Figma, G suites, Lucid

• 普通運転免許
• モビリティサービス、もしくは自動車業界での開発経験 (特に日系)
• 高度運転支援機能への理解
• Figma, G suites, Lucidの使用経験
