Role Profile
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX UI Designer to join our Lloyd’s List Intelligence product team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role as we transform our product portfolio to have a more customer-centric focus and create user experiences that deliver greater value. You will use your creativity – along with your technical knowledge – to collect and translate user insights into visually appealing user journeys and functional designs that address our customer’s needs. Working collaboratively across product and technology teams you’ll be responsible for delivering UX mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes, MVPs and final products.
In this role, you'll have the privilege of being the voice of our customers. You'll translate their needs into user-friendly designs and have a direct impact on the customer's user-experience. This is a full-time permanent role reporting to Head of Product, Platform & Data.
This role is balanced working model between home and in our modern and centrally located UK - London office close to St Paul’s, Blackfriars, and Farringdon with an excellent and a wide variety of services and transport links situated nearby.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the end-to-end customer experience and user journey across the product lifecycle from conceptualisation through to product launch

Design and run workshops for internal stakeholders and clients to drive stronger journey mapping, client validation and rapid evolution of the portfolio

Ensure user experience is championed throughout the product development process through working closely with business stakeholders

Continually build an understanding of customer and market needs across different personas and the value our products deliver.

Implement a common design system and standards, ensuring they’re adhered to across the product portfolio

Conduct user research and translate insights into a range of visual concepts including user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and product designs, supporting rapid iteration and usability testing and customer validation

Work with technology and product teams to ensure product deliverables meet design specifications and requirements whilst measuring the impact of future enhancements
What we are looking for:
Essential
-
At least 5 years' of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work
-
At least 2 years’ experience working in a B2B SaaS environment, preferability in a data driven platform

Demonstrated experience in creating and evolving design systems and interaction design principles, ensuring consistency across multiple platforms.

Experience implementing design thinking and user-centred design approaches to map out user journeys to address customer needs

Proficiency with key UX tools such as Figma, and a strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Experience with responsive design and working with design systems.

Proven knowledge of best-in-class UI design and UX practice for B2B, data-driven products.

Ability to create clear and compelling visual representations of complex data and product requirements.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Understanding of Agile UX and Lean UX delivery methodologies.

Thorough expertise in Usability Testing, ensuring products meet user requirements effectively.

Possession of a proactive 'can do' attitude, driving innovative solutions and problem-solving.
Desirable

Experience working in a startup or PE/Scale-Up

A degree in any discipline (Business related degree’s preferable)

Strong experience in working across a complex, multi-faceted product portfolio

Clear understanding of the rapid product development process and understanding approaches used to help validate ideas quickly.

Comfortable and experienced in working with data and processes to support decision-making

Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams working towards common objectives
