Graphic Design Internship


Start Date- August 2024


End Date- December 2024 (with possibility to extend)


Location- Ottawa, ON, CA (must be within commuting distance), Monday-Wednesday in office working days


Schedule- Business hours up to 30 hours/week; flexible based on school schedule.


Pay- CA$18/hour




Student must be in a current college or university internship program.

YOU'LL GET TO...



  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials

  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity

  • Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout

  • Drive advertisement design, spanning both offline materials and online promotional campaigns

  • Maintain a firm grasp on design trends as well as emerging media

  • Manage projects from initial creative brief to finished output while communicating status to all stakeholders effectively;

  • Work closely with Creative Director, Accounts Team, and Director of Production to ensure all task are completed in a timely manner




WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO...



  • Must be detail-oriented, with effective organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well under pressure, and have solid problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills.

  • High level of creativity and "rolled up sleeves" working style.

  • Flexibility to work independently and as a team player.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

  • Knowledge of HTML,CSS and Wordpress and asset

  • Completing a Diploma in Graphic Design or Advertising/Marketing

  • Possesses the following skills:
