Overview:


As the Technical Artist at WICKED GAMES, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all creative assets—ranging from art and sound to animations—are delivered with excellence and align with our product vision. This position requires a deep understanding of both art and animation, as well as strong project management skills. You will work across multiple teams, collaborating with project managers to keep workflows organized and efficient. Your leadership will ensure that our creative outputs not only meet our high standards but also drive innovation and engagement in the iGaming industry. You will report directly to the Studio Director and work closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to deliver top-tier gaming experiences.

What You Know:You possess a deep understanding of both art and animation, with a comprehensive knowledge of the creative processes involved in game development. You are proficient in industry-standard tools like Adobe CC and Esoteric Spine, and you have a solid grasp of project management methodologies. Your expertise includes managing creative workflows, collaborating across teams, and staying current with industry trends to ensure that our games are visually stunning and creatively superior.


 


What You Do:You manage the development and delivery of all creative assets, including art, sound, and animations. You work closely with product owners, project managers, concept artists and3rd party suppliers to ensure that creative processes are organised, efficient, and aligned with the overall product vision. You ensure that all creative outputs meet our high standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

  1. Comprehensive Management of Creative AssetsOverview:
    You will leverage your strong knowledge of both art and animation to manage the development and delivery of all creative assets. Your understanding of creative aspects will ensure that every piece, whether produced in-house or by third-party suppliers, aligns with the project’s vision and quality standards.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead the development and execution of creative assets, including art, sound, and animations, ensuring they meet the project vision and quality standards.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to manage the creation and delivery of assets.

  • Oversee the creative workflow, ensuring all assets are delivered on time and within budget.



  1. Cross-Team Collaboration and Workflow ManagementOverview:
    This focus area involves working with multiple project managers across various teams to keep all creative processes organized and flowing smoothly. Your role is to ensure that the vision for each project is clearly understood and that all creative assets are delivered seamlessly to meet project deadlines.


Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with multiple project managers to ensure that all creative deliverables are aligned with project goals and timelines.

  • Manage the coordination between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring effective communication and workflow.

  • Organise and maintain the flow of creative processes, ensuring all teams are aligned and that the vision for the product is consistently upheld.



  1. Innovation and Quality AssuranceOverview:
    Staying updated with industry trends and best practices is essential for driving innovation in our products. This focus area involves ensuring that our creative outputs not only meet the highest quality standards but also incorporate the latest technological advancements and creative trends in the gaming industry.


Responsibilities:



  • Monitor and integrate industry trends and best practices into the creative process to drive innovation.

  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks on all creative assets to ensure they meet WICKED GAMES' high standards.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the creative teams.


Reporting Structure:Reports To: Studio Director
Works Closely With: Product owners, project managers, concept artists and 3rd party suppliers.

Hard Skills:



  • Strong expertise in art and animation, with a deep understanding of the creative processes involved.

  • Proficiency in Adobe CC, Esoteric Spine, and other relevant tools.

  • Experience in managing creative workflows and processes across multiple teams.

  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in the gaming industry.

Qualifications and Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a project management or creative management role

  • Proven track record in managing and delivering high-quality creative projects.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
