We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer with a strong focus on user research and process improvement to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex desktop software and a proven track record of enhancing user experiences through research, design, and validation. This role requires a deep understanding of end-user needs, the ability to translate those needs into actionable design concepts, and the capability to lead usability studies and interviews.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough research to understand how end users interact with our software and identify areas for improvement.
Develop new design concepts based on user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and validate these designs with developers and end users.
Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure the seamless handover of design specifications.
Conduct UX testing and usability studies to evaluate the effectiveness of new designs compared to existing systems.
Perform comparative analyses between old and new systems, gathering extensive feedback from end users.
Provide actionable advice on improvements for new systems based on user feedback and research findings.
Maintain a strong focus on process improvement and research throughout the design cycle.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a UX Researcher with a strong focus on process and research.
Proficiency in UI design with the ability to create user-friendly interfaces.
Experience with complex desktop software; mobile app experience is less relevant.
Prior experience in a multinational organization is preferred.
Familiarity with Material Design, SAP Fiori, and Figma is advantageous.
Ability to work autonomously, take control of projects, and drive them forward.
Strong communication skills with the confidence to introduce new concepts and convince stakeholders of their value.
Ability to say no to stakeholders when necessary, maintaining focus on user-centered design principles.
