Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Video Editor & Motion Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content, enhancing visual storytelling through motion graphics, and ensuring projects align with brand guidelines and objectives. You’ll work closely with the marketing and creative teams to deliver visually compelling media for various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring seamless transitions, sound synchronization, and visual appeal.
  • Motion Graphics: Create eye-catching motion graphics for video intros, title sequences, transitions, and animations as required.
  • Conceptualization: Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand the project requirements, providing creative input and ideas for video and animation content.
  • Post-Production: Enhance video footage with color correction, special effects, audio balancing, and other post-production techniques.
  • Brand Adherence: Ensure all video content adheres to the company’s branding, style, and tone.
  • Storytelling: Use editing techniques and motion graphics to create compelling visual narratives for marketing campaigns, social media content, and internal communications.
  • Software Proficiency: Stay updated with the latest editing tools and motion graphics software, providing expertise on new tools and methods to enhance project quality.
  • Content Optimization: Optimize video content for different platforms, ensuring file sizes, formats, and resolutions are appropriate for web, social media, and internal use.
  • File Management: Organize and manage media assets, ensuring that project files and raw footage are properly archived for future use.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film Production, Graphic Design, Animation, Media Arts, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience  as a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing and motion graphics.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects.
  • Strong knowledge of audio editing and sound design.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines and pivot quickly when priorities change.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output for every project.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative flair and passion for storytelling through video and motion graphics.

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

  • Experience with 3D motion graphics or animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender).
  • Knowledge of social media trends and experience in creating content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Basic knowledge of photography or videography.
