For our Design Department New Strategy Business in Munich we are looking for an
Advanced Automotive Interior Design Director (m/f/x)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conceptualize and design original interior spaces that based on the design DNA, user lifestyle, future trends, new technologies.
2. Ensure the interior design work meet company’s standards for quality, innovation, and functionality, and could deliver on time.
3. Lead and manage the interior design team, providing guidance and direction throughout the design process.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Digital Modelers, studio engineers to ensure the interior design aligns with the overall product strategy.
5. Maintain the positive and collaborative work environment, and ensure the interior design team work efficiently, providing constructive feedback to the team.
6. Familiar with basic safety and laws/regulations in the industrialization process and be able to apply to the design, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design or related field.
2. Minimum of 9 years of experience in automotive interior design, including experience in manager role.
3. Proficient in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration, strong leadership and management skills.
5. Passion for innovation and creativity, and strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and across departments.
