Freelance Animator/Motion Designer

ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a freelance animator/motion designer to create an animation in a style consistent with the already existing one, utilizing open files and ready-made assets from Envato Market, with some color changes and small adjustments to ensure visual harmony.

ESSENTIALS:

• Contract type: Freelance B2B contract
• Scope of work: up to 10 hours per week
• Location: Remote (must be able to sign a B2B contract with a PL company)

Project Details:

• Animation in the same style as our previous work
• Use of open files (approx. 10 minutes of material)
• Use of Envato Market templates (with color changes and minor tweaks)
• Voiceover provided by the client

Workflow:

• Create style frames based on the voiceover
• Client approval process for style frames
• Begin animation
• Work on 1-2 minutes of the animation at a time; once approved, move to the next section

Your responsibility:

• Take on the main responsibility of delivering the animation to the client on our behalf, with minimal supervision
• Create a storyboard based on the provided script before starting the animation process

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience providing similar services
• Proficiency with at least one animation and illustration software
• Existing portfolio of animations
• Being able to propose the best and most pragmatic solutions to achieve the desired effect - minimizing the effort
• At least upper intermediate level of English

Nice to haves:

• Experience working with human or AI voice-over
• Experience working with pre-existing animation assets
