At Jumbo Group we want people to learn, have fun and be happy thanks to our amazing toys and games. We are currently seeking a skilled Junior Graphic Designer to join our Product Development Department within Jumbo Group based in Cheadle, Stockport, UK.


This position will be responsible for creating artworks in the Product Development Plan for the categories Arts & Crafts, Science and Infant categories. The role works closely together with Product Developers and Brand Managers. This role will report into the Group Senior Product Development Manager, based in UK.


To achieve this goal, your functions will be the following:



  • Produce artwork for product, packaging, guides, illustration sheets, posters and adverts from briefs supplied.

  • Supply approved final artwork to Product Developer.

  • Undertake in-house photography mainly for packaging front of box and contents shots but also for guides, catalogue, website, etc. as required.

  • Cut-out and retouch images from in-house and studio photography.

  • Produce product models and mock up boxes as required for photography, exhibitions and sampling to customers.

  • Prepare images for catalogues and websites.


The knowledge you should bring to Jumbo Group to take our services to the next level is:



  • Excellent skills in all graphic software programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Adobe, etc. Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is required

  • Minimum 1 year experience in packaging artwork design

  • Ability to transform the briefing of Brand Manager into concepts that are competitive and appealing for the target group.

  • Up to date with design & colour trends / directions.

  • Eager to understand the competitive landscape in order to come up with the best possible design that stands out on shelf.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality design work.

  • Ability to multitask

  • Ability to adapt to evolving design trends and technologies.

  • Experience in working with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of the toys market for specialized design insights is desirable.
