POSITION SUMMARY

The Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor develops compelling video and animation deliverables for internal and external clients that support the overarching participant communication solution.

This role conceives and produces high-quality, effective and innovative motion graphics, animations, and video solutions for all assigned clients/programs, in collaboration with Creative Strategy Advisors or Creative Directors, Designers, and Writers to fulfill creative vision.  

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Video/Film, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Web Development/Design or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum five years’ experience as a Motion Graphics Specialist in an advertising agency or similar environment.
  • Experience working with multiple client preferences and account needs.
  • Ability to review own work critically, articulating concept rationale to internal or external clients.
  • Basic Mac and PC experience required. Software experience includes Adobe CS products (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Media Encoder, Photoshop), Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint. As well as a basic understanding of Adobe CS Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. 
  • Working understanding of effective communication styles and techniques, including conceptualization, copy outlining, writing, editing and proofing for all media (social media, video and electronic).
  • Working knowledge of camera, audio and lighting equipment.
  • Ability to understand complex business information and effectively communicate key messages to and on behalf of all levels of business management.
  • Possess a positive attitude and effect on the creative/professional staff.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage workflows, even in stressful and difficult circumstances.
  • Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers’ needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred.
  • Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
