About the role 

(Please note – this is a 12 month maternity leave contract)
 
As the SAP User Experience Designer, you’ll be a key member of the Enterprise Systems leadership team and be accountable for the Enterprise Systems UX strategy.

Working closely with the Enterprise Systems development teams you will lead the creation of solutions that eloquently balance people, processes and technology. You will take ownership of Foodstuffs Enterprise Systems UI/UX governance and strategy in conjunction with other SAP Architects and Business stakeholders.

You will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering intuitive, user-centric experiences for our SAP applications. Leveraging your expertise in both SAP technology and user experience design principles, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and functionals, to ensure that our SAP solutions are efficient, user-friendly, and aligned with our business goals.

Together with our Business Process Owners and SAP Architects, you will be an integral part of our outcome & solution discovery process to deliver robust and forward-thinking solutions that drive our business into a more efficient future, significantly enabling rapid and agile change across our IT facing landscape.

This position is integral to leading and performing on-going SAP Fiori development and production support in one of New Zealand's biggest SAP Landscapes across both various on-premise S/4 HANA and cloud solutions like Success Factors and SAP Analytics Cloud.

About you

You will be an effective communicator and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and present design concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will have a strong personal resilience and ability to work in a fast moving and continually changing environment.

Along with a proven track record of effective qualitative and quantitative judgement and decision making, other skills and experience you will need include:
·       Proven experience in designing user experiences for Enterprise applications, including hands-on experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and related technologies including UX product direction.
·       Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
·       Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and user research methodologies
·       Degree(s) in Computer Science, Business, digital design or human interaction 
·       Experience with agile development methodologies and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
·       Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, SAP Cloud Platform, and other relevant SAP tools along with an understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud, data modelling and best practice data visualisation
·       Proven experience in UX strategy and roadmap development for larger Enterprises 
·       Experience in designing and developing SAP UI5 / Fiori applications that are aligned with the overall architectural approach and platform being used by the team(s)
·       Experience in design systems and visual storytelling
