Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the EU Partner team, to support 2nd party dev studios and their ongoing projects. 
  • Review project status and game design at the studio's accepted checkpoint, provide review feedback, design suggestions, and any other support studio needs.
  • If studio/Project needed, be dedicated to prioritized project on a specific area, such as Combat; Gunplay; progression systems, or monetization features. 
  • Work closely with the China strike team or publishing team involved into our projects. 
  • Investigate and provide competitor analysis and teardown according to studio needs. 
  • Support project gate review from China, work closely with assessment teams who will join the review, coordinate playtest work, be ready answer design and product questions about the game, and become the communication bridge between China and the EU teams.
  • Travel to EU for Studio visit or onsite work if necessary. 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of game development experience as a game designer.
  • Experience with GAAS system design.
  • Experience with F2P monetization design.
  • Advanced or Fluent English-speaking skills.
  • Solid understanding of Pc or Console game development and game market
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, time management, and organization skills.
  • Passion to craft meaningful, engaging interactive experiences.
  • Experience with UE4/UE5 is a plus.
  • Experience with UGC is a plus.
  • Experience with Shooter games is a plus.
  • Experience with SOC games is a plus.
  • Console and PC game development experience is a good plus.
