Senior Product Designer

OddsJam is a tech-first sports betting startup helping to make users more profitable. We love sports and build products that we use every day. The company is profitable, self-funded by the founders, and growing at a rapid clip (more than 5x year over year).

The sports betting and fantasy sports space is massive ($170bn in the US), growing, and underserved from a product and content perspective, and we have the talent, domain expertise, and passion to win the space.

The OddsJam founders graduated from Stanford University and previously started a company in the healthcare industry valued at over $200m.

As an early design team member at OddsJam, you will be working at a startup with high autonomy, responsibility, and speed of iteration. This is a high-consequence, fast-moving role that requires a clear design vision, the drive to implement that vision, the ability to ship very quickly in an organization that moves at the pace world-class engineers can ship at, exacting communication skills, and the ability to educate our team on the impact of design choices you make.

You should be excited to:

• Build, move fast, and learn – we ship quickly and often


• Conduct user interviews and research


• Design products that are highly use-case and user-specific


• Design in the 0-1 phase of the product development lifecycle


• Design in the 1-10 iterative phase of the product development lifecycle


• Design elegant core product features from start to finish; from conception and research to implementation and iteration, all the way through deployment, maintenance, and future iterations


• Communicate holistically & systematically about how our user experience will and do achieve desired goals


• Bring positive energy in every interaction with the team and drive constant collaboration

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years in design, focusing on consumer-driven mobile and web applications


• Portfolio with demonstrated evidence of shipping world-class customer experiences that have made a significant impact on business metrics


• Strong empathetic skills with a high EQ, and a deep understanding of users


• High IQ, with a knack for devising innovative solutions to complex problems and communicating them to team members


• Proficient in the latest web technologies and architectures.


• Excellent teamwork skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.


• Ability to operate under ambiguous and fast-moving problem spaces, often cross-functionally
