Some of what you will do


As a Senior Product Designer (Design System), you will partner with the digital product and engineering teams in the product discovery and development process and provide design partnerships to drive the creation of best-in-class user experiences and align UX to business outcomes, as well as increase product development velocity through a robust design system.


Specifically, you will:



  • Champion design best practices across teams, raising the visibility of work and ensuring partnership with business partners.

  • Evolve existing design patterns and refine the design language to support the needs of internal or external customers by creating reusable, scalable, and robust design tokens.

  • Deliver design tokens and ensure consistency, quality, and excellence across lines of business.ย 

  • Navigate ambiguity by maintaining clear sources of truth documentation for the organization.

  • Contribute to the improvement of design system processes, people, and outcomes across digital properties and teams.

  • Work with UX research and analytics teams to inform decision-making and identify emerging issues and trends.

  • Collaborate with development teams to provide design specifications, annotations, support and participate in the QA process.


Some of what you needย 



  • Requires a college or university degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

  • Proficiency in design systems design and working with development (React or equivalent)

  • Proficiency in Figma, knowledge of component theming, Zeroheight and Contentful are assets

  • A portfolio that demonstrates designing and contributing to high-quality design systems components for both consumer and B2B products

  • Experience building and maintaining design tokens & documentation: UI design, light mode/dark mode, naming/categorization, management, conversion, version control, and distribution

  • Experience collaborating with other product designers, product managers, engineers, and other business partners to align roadmaps and implementation details

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Strong understanding of accessibility requirements as it pertains to visual and interaction design

  • Usually 3+ years of relevant work experience, for example, as a Product Designer, UX Designer, etc.; At least 1+ years of them were focused on design systems.
