The Impact You’ll Have:
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to craft product strategies that meet customer needs and align with Vendasta’s business goals.
- Participate in product discovery efforts, using data and user research to inform design decisions and shape product outcomes.
- Lead the reduction of product complexity by streamlining interface components and improving the usability and efficiency of Vendasta’s platform.
- Deliver high-quality visual and interaction designs, utilizing Vendasta’s Galaxy design system and Figma to create seamless user experiences.
- Make iterative improvements to existing products based on user feedback, business needs, and usability testing.
- Prototype and validate new design concepts through user testing, ensuring the solutions are impactful and aligned with user expectations.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including design leadership, product managers, and POD teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the design process.
- Present design concepts, strategies, and improvements at key touchpoints such as sprint reviews, Vision & Strategy meetings, and tech demos, elevating the role of design within the organization.
- Conduct and utilize user research, both qualitative and quantitative, to validate design decisions and improve overall product usability.
- Champion a data-informed design process by integrating feedback and insights from users, stakeholders, and analytics into the product development lifecycle.
- Provide mentorship and feedback to junior designers, supporting them in their professional development through design reviews, check-ins, and project collaborations.
- Lead efforts to improve the overall design process by contributing to design systems, promoting design best practices, and streamlining workflows.

- 5-7+ years of experience in Product Design or a related field: Preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
