Introduction

Are you ready to play a key role in the future of veterinary medicine and drive the scaling of their innovative veterinary practices?
Our client is looking for a committed and visionary product designer (m/f/d) or UI/UX designer (m/f/d) who will take their designs to the next level. 

You will be responsible for their design system and, together with their product and engineering leads, develop innovative and user-friendly solutions that improve the everyday lives of veterinarians, pet owners (m/f/d) and animals.
They currently run two veterinary practices in Munich, and will be opening additional locations in Düsseldorf in summer 2024 and in Cologne, Hamburg and Frankfurt from autumn 2024. 



Area of Responsibility

Be responsible for their design system and ensure consistency across all products and digital touchpoints. Work closely with the Product Lead and Engineering Leads to understand, improve and redesign (digital) processes. Work with the Product Lead to develop a deep understanding of their customers, employees and their needs in order to design intuitive and modern solutions.


This includes:


  • Responsibility for their design system and ensuring consistency of all products and digital touchpoints

  • Close collaboration with their product lead and engineering leads to analyze, improve and redesign digital processes

  • Creating designs for their digital products, including wireframes, mockups and prototypes

  • Accompanying initiatives and features from the discovery phase to release

  • Conducting user research (e.g. usability testing) to gain a deep understanding of user needs and behavior

  • Developing a deep understanding of their customers, employees and their needs in collaboration with the Product Lead to design intuitive and modern solutions





What you should bring with you:



  • At least 2 years of experience in an environment that requires structure, quick comprehension, clear communication and a hands-on mentality (e.g. startups)

  • Several years of experience in product design or UI/UX design

  • Big plus: Experience with user-centered design or service design

  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently and proactively

  • Creativity and a strong aesthetic sense

  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions

  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams

  • Proficient in using Figma and digital tools such as Notion, Slack, Miro, Linear

  • No medical or veterinary background required

  • Fluent German and English skills
