Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated experienced UX Designer to lead our Design team. To be successful you will be working in the product design, based on market research and user feedback and then liaising with engineering leads to implement the development of the product.
We need someone who is driven, clever, hard-working, and able to deliver exceptional leadership across the design team. This role is a great fit for anyone who loves art, a dynamic working environment, and can thrive in a complex partner ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-level and detailed user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communication design concepts and solutions.
- Collaborate with our product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry best practices, and leverage this knowledge to improve our products.
- Help our engineering teams understand design decisions and answer any queries they may have while the Melbourne team is offline.
- Help maintain a consistent user experience and user interface across our entire product.
- Assist in the management of our custom design system.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products, with a strong portfolio that showcases your design skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience creating service blueprints, user flows and wireframes that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Expertise in design and prototyping tools like Figma.
- Expertise in managing and using design systems/design libraries.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with interaction design and visual design a plus.
- Passion for art, technology, and web3 a plus.
