Description

Are you the Picasso of the user-interface, the Van Gogh of the TV menu, the Liechtenstein of app design? Dazzle us with your take on the future of digital design. Delight us with your visual creations. It's not because it's practical, it can’t also be beautiful. As a UI designer you will be part of a very data-driven team responsible for optimizations to our website. You will also work on the translation of our campaigns into our digital channels.

Please imagine that the interfaces you design will be used massively. Talk about a challenge. Well, you'll find it with us.

Your responsibilities as a UI Designer

  • We always want to stay one step ahead in the digital world. Every interaction with our customer must be simple, relevant and valuable. The thoughtful, elegant interfaces you design for our website contribute to that.

  • You transform colors, typography, images, and animations into simple, cohesive designs that make an impact. In doing so, you follow best practices and deliver neat work; superbly organized design files, clickable prototypes and component libraries. Precise and meticulous, you wouldn't have it any other way.

  •  To continuously elevate your designs, you gather valuable feedback from both colleagues and clients—and you'll be eager to turn that input into even better results.

  • You also work data-driven so you can demonstrate what works and what doesn't. You also give feedback yourself. You work closely with fellow UI (and also UX) designers and developers.

  • Is there a new development we shouldn’t miss? We won’t, because you’ll bring it up and spark discussions with your colleagues. This collaborative approach helps us constantly improve our design practice and make a real difference for our clients.

  • A competitive salary complemented by numerous fringe benefits, such as meal vouchers, hospitalization insurance and discounts on Telenet products.

  • The opportunity to work from home.

  • A flexible work environment in our digital marketing department, giving you a lot of responsibility and autonomy.

  • The company of passionate colleagues. At Telenet, we support each other! You can feel the strong team spirit not only during brainstorms and meetings, but also on our padel court or in our coffee bar.

Our ideal UI Designer

  • Designing user interfaces is your thing. You can demonstrate this with a portfolio and with your expertise.

  • You have at least 3 years of design experience, for example in digital design, product design, multimedia design or graphic design. Common design and prototyping tools like Figma are therefore not new to you.

  • You have a good understanding of user-centered design, accessibility principles and other best practices. You naturally design mobile-first as well.

  • UI design experience with web as well as app is a plus.

  • Your views on the future of digital design demonstrate a fresh perspective and a desire to innovate.

  • You organize your work efficiently and work independently. When there is a lot of work on the shelf, you prioritize.

  • You mainly work with components from an existing design system, but also suggest possible extensions and improvements. You also make sure that your designs can be worked on.

  • You are not afraid to take responsibility for a project and to guide colleagues to make the project a success.

  • You are fluent in English, Dutch is an advantage. After all, fluent communication is also part of the job. You discuss design decisions and exchange ideas with colleagues.

  • Experience working agile and knowledge of HTML and CSS or Adobe Experience Manager.
