Job Description


Job Duties:



  • Work remotely in a team environment with designers and producers to improve user experiences using a human-centered design approach (including web and mobile).

  • Collaborate with team and internal clients to determine design requirements, member needs, and business goals for your experience.

  • Conduct unmoderated user research using prototypes designed in Figma, defining goals, success measures, and synthesis to report insights and recommendations to design and business teams.

  • Present designs you’ve created to your team and internal clients, articulating a sound design rationale, influencing coworkers, stakeholders, and leaders to move forward using your designs.

  • Interpret strategic direction into coherent and effective design solutions., and risk. Assists with coaching less experienced DPOs and team members


Required Experience:



  • At least four years of relevant, on-the-job experience in a Product Design, UX Design, or Service Design role designing user interfaces within complex design systems for web and/or native applications.

  • A portfolio that demonstrates working experience designing and supporting digital products in a team environment using human-centered design principles, methods, and problem-solving strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to work fluently in standard applications, including Figma and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Facilitation, collaboration, and consensus-building skills, with experience presenting to cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated working understanding of platform-based design and best practices in website navigation, browsers, mobile patterns, information architecture, and usability.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.

  • Highly organized, with the ability to work on multiple projects/tasks while producing high quality output.

  • Demonstrates a strategic mindset by decomposing complex problems into a clear and achievable work stream requiring limited support and direction for decision making.

  • Experience designing research plans, conducting user research and usability tests, and deriving actionable insights from research.

  • Experience turning research insights into specific design concepts while collaborating with development and business partners.
