Job Responsibilities:
- A UX/UI Designer is responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and designing visually appealing and user-friendly digital products. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct usability testing, and ensure consistency in design.
- They stay updated with industry trends, advocate for user-centered design, and provide guidance to developers. They create and maintain design documentation and iterate on designs based on feedback.
Duties
- Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize and test design concepts.
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for digital products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with business goals.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging design patterns.
- Provide guidance and support to developers during the implementation phase.
- Create and maintain design documentation, style guides, and design systems.
- Continuously iterate and improve designs based on user feedback and data.
Preferred Experience
Eligibility Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as graphic design, interaction design, or a related discipline.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design and showcasing previous design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Understanding of usability testing, user research, and user feedback analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to iterate designs based on feedback and user testing.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies and their impact on design.
- Continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Experience working in an agile or iterative development environment is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in UX/UI design or related fields are advantageous but not always required.
